Fish Fry Held by Pennville Vol. Fire Dept. and Pennville Lion's Club

The Pennville Volunteer Fire Department and Pennville Lion's Club will be holding a Fish Fry on Saturday, December 12. All proceeds will go to the Jay County Marching Patriots Drumming in honor of Seth Corwin. Please click Fish Fry above for more details. Enjoy a great meal for a great cause.

We need much help from students and adults on Laundry Detergent Delivery Day in order for distribution to work successfully. Over 500 buckets to be distributed. Here is what we need:

Shift 1:
3:45-6:15 P.M.
11 people
• 3 Fillers (Students)
• 5 Pickers (Students or Adults)
• 3 Loaders (Students or Adults)
Shift 2
6:00-8:15 P.M.
11 people
• 3 Fillers (Students)
• 5 Pickers (Students or Adults)
• 3 Loaders (Students or Adults)
Delivery Day is Thursday, October 1. It will take place on the southwest corner of the high school at the FFA Barn.

If you can help, please have students write their names on the sign-up sheet on the band room door. I would like to have positions filled by next Wednesday.

Information was handed out on Friday to students about the details of the detergent pickup.

Early summer rehearsals have now been scheduled for the woodwinds and brass for Jay County summer marching band.

April 23rd 6:30pm-8:30pm

April 27th 6:30pm-8:30pm

May 7th    6:30pm-8:30pm

May 14th  6:30pm-8:30pm

May 21st  6:30pm-8:30pm

May 26th  6:30pm-8:30pm

This will be for all students grade 8-11 who are participating in the summer marching band program. Percussion and guard rehearsal dates will be announced later.

Chili Dinner & Mid Winter Concert!

Chili Dinner & Concert! Sunday Feb. 22nd
The Patriot Band will be having a chili dinner and concert on Sunday Feb. 22nd. Dinner is 12:00-1:30pm with the concert following at 2:00. Dinner is $5 at the door. Come join us for an afternoon of food, fun, and music!

Simply Spring Fundraiser

“Simply Spring” fundraiser will be starting on the first day back to class for the Jay Patriot Band. There are many different items available to sell to raise funds for student accounts.

Mid Winter Concert Date Change!!!

The Mid Winter Concert will now be on Sunday, Feb. 22nd, 2015.  We are moving the concert one week earlier so that the US Army Field Band & Soldiers Chorus can perform on Sunday, March 1st at JCHS.  We look forward to their performance!

Band Booster Meeting Feb. 4th

The Jay Patriot Band Boosters will be having a meeting on Wednesday, February 4th at 6:30pm. The meeting will be at the JC band room. All are welcome to attend.
