Summer of 1994

Band and guard had a wonderful year. They were placed in the "Sweet Sixteen" after the morning show of the state fair. Their theme for the summer of 1994 was music by Gershwin. In the evening the band finished as runner-up.

This year's band trip was to Louisville, Kentucky for the Pegasus parade before the Kentucky Derby. The band was honored as the best band there. On the trip, they also toured the Churchill Downs museum and the Louisville Slugger factory.
