Would you like to help our band raise money without even leaving the comfort of your favorite chair? DirecTV has developed a program called DirecTV for Schools. Through this program, our band can earn $100.00 for every new customer and $50 for every existing DirecTV customer that comits to one year of service.

The funds raised by this promotion are distributed twice a year to our program. The money will be used to help defray many of the expenses that we incur. Some of those are music fees, copyright fees, Indiana Music Educator's Association fees and festivals, busses, competition fees for the band, color guard, and winter drumline, summer staff, and many others.

Welcome home Marching Patriots! Congratulations on a successful week of camp! Your positive attitudes, desire and hunger for excellence, and attention to details all made our work possible. Our show has improved LEAPS AND BOUNDS over last week.
You should be proud of the way that you represented Jay County High School and the entire Jay County Community.

Newsflash
The annual Ice Cream Social and State Fair preview will be held Sunday, August 3, 2008. Cake and ice cream will be served from 5:00-6:30 P.M. in the JCHS commons with the band's performance at 7:00 P.M. at the JCHS football stadium.
ALL BAND AND GUARD students are to be at the stadium in full uniform NO LATER than 4:30 P.M.
