SMOKY MOUNTAIN MUSIC FESTIVAL BAND TRIP!!!
We have announced to the band students of our Spring band trip to Gatlinburg, TN to perform in the Smoky Mountain Music Festival parade. It has been two years since we have traveled. Information has been handed out about the trip. Commitment forms are due Thursday, Oct. 15 so we can see if we have enough to do the trip. Approximate cost (based on 80 travelers) is $528 students/$542 adults. Obviously, if more go, then the cost would go down. We encourage our parents to go as well. We would love to present Jay County's musical ambassadors in the Great Smoky Mountains!

New Uniforms Unveiled
As announced during the Mid-Winter concert on Sunday, February 16, the Marching Patriots are beginning a fundraising endeavor to replace the current marching band uniforms that have served the band for over a decade! In addition, new color guard uniforms will be purchased along with the refinishing of both travel trailers.

Congrats to Solo & Ensemble Participants!
Congratulations go to Jay County Band students for excellent
performances on Saturday at the Indiana State School Music Association
Solo and Ensemble contest. All groups and soloists received Silver or
Gold ratings on Saturday. Those who qualified for State Solo and
Ensemble included Randy Fortkamp, Nick Setser, Kelsie Adkins, Ciera
Barcus, Kristen Ireland, Brentt Lewis, James Robinette, Alyson Lucas,
Carli Ostrowski, Kendra Fortkamp, Cayden Betts, and Beth Snowden. Congratulations to all on outstanding performances.

Clubs Choice Fundraiser
The Clubs Choice Fundraiser is currently in progress. All order forms
and money are due on Tuesday October 29th. Please make checks payable
to Jay Patriot Band Boosters. This is another opportunity to add money
to your fund for winter guard, winter drum line, and summer band camp.
Band has a new account system
The Patriot Band has a new software in place for student accounts.

- Go to https://www.charmsoffice.com/ and select the ENTER/LOGIN at the top right.
- Select the Parent/Student area and enter JAYPATRIOTBAND for the school code.
- Enter your student ID that was provided to your student.
- You can change your password/ID to enter after the first time you log in.
- Please make sure contact information including email address is accurate and up to date in order for us to send email statements to you in the future and a cell phone number as well.
