On Saturday, February 2, the Jay County High School Color Guard will compete for the first time in ten years at a winter color guard competition. Our first show will take place at Pike High School in Indianapolis. The group has been working very hard for the past month to put the show together and hopefully will fare pretty well in competition. The show is entitled "Gifts" and is based around Aaron Copeland's section of Appalachian Spring called "Simple Gifts". This year's show was made very simplistic, with straightforward costuming, flags, and design. We hope that all who see it will get a breath of fresh air. Our contest dates are as follows:
February 2, Pike High School
February 9, Eastern High School
February 23, Anderson Highland
March 1, Homestead High School
